Dr. Ellery W. Freeman is the husband of Sharday Freeman, he is the father of 5 beautiful children, Coriana, El'Jai, Kyndal, Ellery,Jr., and Braxton. Psalms 34:1-3 has proven to be the testimony of Dr. Freeman as he is truly patterning his life by the words of his favorite song, "If I can help somebody as I travel along, if I can cheer somebody with the word or a song, if I can show somebody how they're traveling wrong, then my living shall not be in vain."
Dr. Ellery W. Freeman is what Acts 13:22 calls a man after God's own heart. Born in Atlanta, Georgia, he is the second child born to the deacon Wilman Freeman and Evangelist Emma Freeman. Dr. Freeman accepted Christ at an early age and was raised, cultivated, and has served in the church his whole life. Dr. Freeman served as the Minister of Music for his home church for over 20 years, he served as an associate minister for 9 years, he also served as a Sunday School Teacher, and as a deacon before accepting the call to preach the word of God.
Dr. Ellery W. Freeman is a graduate of Creekside High School, Baptist International Bible College, and Victory Bible University, where he holds a Doctorate Degree in Music Ministry. He has been a dedicated employee of the Gus Thornhill's Funeral Home, where he serves as Minister of Music, Pre-needs Manager, and Chief Chaplin for over 20 years. Dr. Freeman is a proud member of the Metropolitan Atlanta Baptist Ministers Union and the South Fulton Ministerial Alliance.
